Study Course
The College imparts education through a 5-½ years Degree Course (4 professionals of 1½+1+1+1 years) in Homoeopathy (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery - BHMS) including 1-year compulsory internship which is recognized by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), New Delhi and is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Clinical Training to the students
The students undergo Clinical Training in various Departments in the Govt. Multispecialty Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh, as well as in the hospital attached to the college. For training in post-mortem, arrangements have been made in the Govt. Medical College and Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh, Civil Hospital, Manimajra. Poly Clinic, Sector 22 Chandigarh. Medical Camps are arranged in the rural areas regularly for imparting training in community health to the interns as well as to the students.
Internship
Intensive one year training is provided for the students who complete the B.H.M.S. Degree Course in the attached College Hospital.
Admissions
The college has at present an intake capacity of 50 students and the admissions are made on the basis of merit list of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). A separate merit list for each category will be prepared based upon the marks obtained in NEET 2024. The result of the NEET 2024 ipso facto, does not entitle a candidate to get admission
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination in supplementary 2024 are not eligible.
